The latest exhibition at Redland Art Gallery, Capalaba gives adults and children the opportunity to explore the suburban environment through art.
Dwell, showcasing Sue Beyer’s latest series of work, investigates the effect spaces and suburban settings have on an individual’s emotions and behaviour. Her pieces also consider how we use space in an urban context.
Dwell can be viewed at Redland Art Gallery, Capalaba from 21 June to 18 July 2012.
To coincide with this exhibition, Sue Beyer will run a series of free school holiday workshops for children aged 5 – 12 years old. The workshops encourage children to think differently about the places and spaces they experience every day, and make new discoveries.
