Redland City Council is asking residents and visitors on North Stradbroke Island to conserve water as a result of a power outage across the island.

Without power, water and wastewater treatment plants on the island have limited capacity to treat and pump water.

Also, when Energex generators switch power back on, try to minimise unnecessary power use. Do this until main supply is repaired.
