A series of free workshops will help support a vibrant local economy by offering local business helpful and practicable information.
Redland City Mayor Karen Williams said the workshops were part of Council’s open for business approach and would provide the opportunity for business owners to hear from experts in various fields.
“These workshops are a way for people who live, work or do business in the Redlands to learn from industry experts and network with other business owners,” she said.
“Local business is the heart of our economy and these workshops will provide information on the latest technology, business succession planning and customer service.”
Council’s Community and Cultural Service spokesperson Cr Lance Hewlett said the workshop information would be invaluable to local businesses.
“I would encourage everyone to get involved,” he said.
“You would normally pay top dollar to access workshops such as these and the knowledge of the experts running them, so to have them on offer free of charge is a huge coup for the local community.”
The business workshop program is outlined below. Book online through Council’s website. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
