Celebrate National Tree Day on Sunday 26 July by helping to plant 3000 native habitat plants along Tingalpa Creek.
The planting will expand habitat along the Tingalpa Creek Conservation Corridor, providing wildlife habitat; as well as improving the water quality of the local waterway.
Council will dig the holes and supply the gardening equipment; all you need to bring is your enthusiasm for supporting the local environment, drinking water and enclosed shoes.
There’ll be a free sausage sizzle, displays and lucky door prizes.
So come along from 9am – 11am Sunday 26 July to Tingalpa Creek Conservation Corridor, Catherine St, Birkdale and join in a great day of fun!
