Family Sunday at the Gallery
End the school holidays on a high with the Redland Art Gallery’s Family Sunday. Drop into our Cleveland gallery from 10am – 1pm for art activities suitable for all ages. No need to book, but parents must remain with children while participating.
Watch out for koalas
The mercury may be falling but things are hotting up for our koalas with an early start to the breeding season this year. Not only are the adults on the move, but last year’s young are heading off to find their own space. Residents are likely to see koalas in some unexpected places, so please keep an eye out for them, especially when driving.
We’re in the ‘hearing’ loop
Amplification systems that make it easier for hearing-impaired residents to pick up the speaker’s voice and other important audio have been installed at the main community facilities across the Redlands, including Council Chambers, Customer Service Centres, mainland libraries, Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC), the Donald Simpson Centre and community halls at Capalaba, Thorneside, Redland Bay, Point Lookout (North Stradbroke Island), Macleay Island and Russell Island.
Contact staff at these centres for assistance using the amplification system.
