Applications are now open for round two of Redland City Council’s 2021-22 Community Grants and Sponsorship Program.
Mayor Karen Williams said the program supported a wide variety of projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening the Redlands Coast community.
“Every year, Council grants and sponsorships help local organisations, community groups and individuals make a difference in the Redlands through a diverse range of projects, initiatives and events,” she said.
“Round one of the 2021-22 program saw 37 applicants receive more than $355,580 in the form of Community Grants, sponsorship and Capital Infrastructure Grants.
“We are now pleased to offer round two and I invite all organisations and individuals to apply, even if they were unsuccessful in the first round.”
Cr Williams said Community Grants were available in three categories: organisation support (with funding up to $3000), project support and conservation (both with funding up to $10,000).
Applications close on 7 March 2022.
Applications for round two of the sponsorship program will open from 21 February until 21 March 2022.
Organisations have the opportunity to apply for one of two sponsorship categories, of either $15,000 or less, or for more than $15,000, and there is additional funding support of up to $1500 to support Quandamooka cultural awareness at sponsored events or activities.
Eligibility criteria and guidelines can be found online on Council’s grants and sponsorship webpage.
