Tracks and trails in all conservation areas on Redlands Coast remain closed until further notice due to the wet conditions and safety hazards such as hanging branches and fallen trees.
Capalaba Regional Park is also closed.
A number of local roads remain closed due to flooding. Remember, if it’s flooded, forget it.

Three mobile library spots were cancelled today due to wet weather – at Victoria Point, Alexandra Hills and Mount Cotton.
Sandbagging stations are open today at:
- Nuway Landscape Supplies – 249 Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, Thornlands until 5pm (6 bags per vehicle, with proof of identification/residential location required ie Driver Licence or rates notice. Please follow onsite directions upon entering the Landscape Yard)
- Council Depot Russell Island – 6 Cambridge Road, Russell Island (self-service, open 24 hours)
- Council Depot Macleay Island – 22-24 Scarborough Terrace (self-service, open 24 hours)
- Council Depot Dunwich – 11-37 Mitchell Crescent, Dunwich (self-service, open 24 hours)
Residents are reminded to check their gutters are clear and secure loose items around the home.

If you have storm damage waste to remove, all Recycling and Waste Centres on Redlands Coast are open. For opening hours and locations, visit Council’s website.
