As cleanups continue across Redlands Coast, we know many residents have been severely impacted by fallen trees and green waste.
To help residents unable to clear green waste generated from ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, Council will begin kerbside collections from next week, 17 March, 2025.
This service is for green waste only
Please place green waste near your kerbside, away from electrical boxes, by Sunday evening (16 March).
Only disaster-related waste from inside and immediately outside the home is being prioritised at the moment.
Green waste from other areas of your residence or prior to the event should be separated and processed as normal within existing waste centres.
Many hands make light work so we ask that if you can manage your own clean-up it will help us if you can take your green waste to one of our Recycling and Waste Centres.
Bulk green waste disposal sites are also available at:
Redland Bay
- 17-25 Giles Road
- Bayview Conservation Park Staging Area, 487-503 German Church Road
Thorneside

Don’t forget that small amounts of green waste are suitable for your green-lid kerbside bin.
