Redlanders have the opportunity to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice by attending one of the local ANZAC Day events on Saturday 25 April.
Redland City Mayor Karen Williams said six events were being held by local RSL clubs, providing plenty of opportunity for residents to show their gratitude to past and present troops.
“ANZAC Day is a chance to remember those who sacrificed so much for our nation so it is important that as a community we take the time to pause and pay our respects,” she said.

Road Closure information:
The following roads will be closed from midnight Friday 24 April to 1pm Saturday 25 April:
- Shore Street West, from Wynyard St to Wharf St;
- Passge Street, from Middle Street to the Kinsail Court turn-off.
- Kinsail Court, in its entirity.
- Banana Street Redland Bay, between Weinam Street and Outridge Street. Access to the Redland Bay Marina and boat ramp is via Meissner Street onto Banana Street.
